We are looking for a Bioinformatics Scientist to provide bioinformatics analysis support across Biopharm Research.
Qualifications:
Ideally a BSc or MSc in Bioinformatics or Life Sciences
A broad knowledge of bioinformatics analysis tools and databases
The ability to work independently
Strong communication and Matrix team working skills
The ability to communicate complex bioinformatics principles, methods, analyses and results coherently to scientists from diverse backgrounds
Experience in the use of bioinformatics analysis methods/software in the area of protein sequence and structure
A thorough understanding of molecular biology (genes, transcripts and protein domains), preferably antibody molecular biology
Experience of a Scripting language such as Perl, Java, Unix, SQL
